About Me
Hi, I’m Eli! My work combines realism with surreal, emotionally charged imagery. With graphite and deliberate use of color, I explore beauty, horror, softness, violence, and the complexity of being human. I am drawn to expressive anatomy, especially hands and faces.
From childhood scribbling to the present, drawing has always been my way of understanding my inner world and the world around me. My experiences with schizophrenia, grief, and gender identity have deeply influenced my work.
Each drawing is an expression of emotions that are difficult to put into words. My hope is that you will look at a piece and feel curious, impacted, or understood. Please feel free to ask questions, I love to talk about my art!
